Five Months Later: Here's How VidSyndicate Has Evolved ⭐

It's been a few months since I first shared this project, and it's evolved quite a bit.

I rebranded VidShare to VidSyndicate and have been focused on turning it into a production-ready platform instead of just a prototype.

A lot has changed:

  • Added support for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, and YouTube.

  • Built a scheduling system so creators can publish across multiple platforms from one dashboard.

  • Recently added YouTube livestreaming, allowing users to stream from a browser directly to YouTube without OBS or other desktop software. (This is in beta)

  • Videos can be archived to S3 after a livestream, making them available for download or future publishing.

Most of the past few months have been spent on API integrations, platform approvals, and making the infrastructure reliable. It turns out building the product is only half the work—getting approved by each social platform is its own challenge.

I'm also putting more effort into SEO and content marketing while continuing to add features based on creator feedback.

If anyone here manages multiple social channels, I'd love to hear what the biggest pain point is in your publishing workflow. That's been driving nearly every feature I've added.
