I know this has lately been a hotly debated topic but our company has been in the process of migrating our old codebase to a hybrid structure so we will have less overhead in maintaining two different code bases. We decided to spend a week recreating a few features of our current app into a react native as well as a flutter app and then seeing what is the best way forward. I've listed out some of the pros and cons of both that we have encountered but would love to hear the community's thoughts on both frameworks as well!
Flutter:
Pros-
-Compiles into ARM code so it seems faster when deployed. Also (at least we've seen, the size of the app can be heavily optimized)
Cons-
React Native:
Pros-
Cons-
Let me know what you all think and which one you prefer! We are a bit of Google fanboys so we might stick with Flutter but that's still up for debate. However, I think regardless of which one you pick, these frameworks are great for quickly putting up an MVP (trying linking up your backend with Lambda or Firebase for even quicker development cycles).
Are you confused between Flutter Vs. React Native? Here are all the comparisons listed for you and the performance winner between the two declared!
