Fresh raise: Gorilla Technology Group files $125M Form D

Gorilla Technology Group just filed a $125M Form D with the SEC, hours ago. That's fresh capital about to move into hires, infrastructure, and new vendor contracts.

I built Funding Signals, a solo project that turns SEC Form D filings into a scored, enriched sales-lead feed: company, amount, industry, and contact info, live within hours of filing. Free tier is up if you want to see this week's raises: https://fundingsignals.net/?utm_source=indiehackers&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=round5

The stronger positioning here may be timing rather than data. SEC filings are public, but the commercial value changes dramatically when a sales team gets a qualified signal while the funding is still fresh enough to act on. That makes “scored, enriched sales-lead feed” sound more like a data product than what buyers may actually be purchasing: a head start on reaching companies immediately after a major buying-capacity event. I’d be curious whether the messaging makes that time-sensitive advantage obvious enough, because that’s potentially much more compelling than the underlying filing data.

The interesting part is the timing advantage embedded in the product. A Form D filing is public information, but its usefulness changes dramatically when it reaches the right person while the capital is still fresh. That makes “lead feed” feel like a much narrower description of what’s actually being sold.
