What will you accomplish by end of October?
What did you do yesterday to work toward your goal?
What will you do today?
Posted an interview from https://womenhustlers.com for the first time on reddit
Waiting for the response
Good morning IndieHackers!
MONTHLY GOAL
Getting Repobox Community Edition out the door. I decided to make a small open source variant that allows Laravel developers (or really any PHP developers) to use Repobox for their private package hosting needs. The idea here is that most shops have a combination of PHP and NPM packages, so Repobox combines those so you can host both in one convenient place as opposed to having two services. Then pro features will be available.
YESTERDAY
Worked a bit on the marketing and rollout plan. I've got about six pages of marketing plans ready for Repobox, and the current early access customers seem to be enjoying the service.
TODAY
I need to start wrapping this software package up into Docker so that customers can easily take and deploy it.
The struggle is that the more I do here, the more product ideas keep coming up, and I have to avoid shiny object syndrome like the plague!
SHOUT OUTS
@rmccullagh - The stuff you're working on for Amezmo is super slick! App level metrics, server level metrics, deployment activity metrics. Really getting those features in!
@kalenjordan - Nice job getting KalenCast running! Never easy to do any sort of podcast, let alone one where you want to have people in the same room.
Thanks brother I apprecaite it! Sorry for the late reply I haven't been dipping into my IH account very frequently - gotta fix that!
By the end of October, I want to be able to demo Announcr to a business owner and a random stranger.
I haven't worked on Announcr for the last week except for a few QA notes.
Today I am going to split up some of the stories I've written, as I've had a lot of difficulty overcoming mental barriers and pushing ahead. The day job has been bananas and I've picked up another side contract and there's no end in sight, free time taken a nose dive.
However, a full time job can be a long term trap and takes me away from moving on my dreams!
Balancing time can be hard. But as long as you can at least work a tiny bit on Announcr every day so that things keep moving forward, then you keep focused on getting it done. Slow progress is still progress.
I do think that Announcr is a great idea and from the sounds of it you are pretty close to having a great product on hand. So I hope that you can keep moving forward to that dream!
