From Burning Midnight Oil to Lighting Up Developer Lives: The Birth of CodeWiz

Hey Indie Hackers!

Pietro Lungarini here, the soul behind CodeWiz. As makers, you know the drill: it's midnight, your eyes are drooping, your brain's fried, and yet, a code problem persists. Sounds familiar?

This was me, one such night, wrestling with Angular. Wishing for someone, something, that could whisper the answers to my relentless queries. But, you know, minus the judgment or the time zones. Thus, an idea was born: CodeWiz.

The journey? Oh, boy. What started as a tiny bot for my nighttime coding mysteries rapidly evolved. Thanks to OpenAI's Chat-gpt model, it became smarter, remembering past interactions, and offering more relevant advice. The charm of semantic search only heightened the allure. And then, that "eureka!" moment - why not link users directly to the docs? This wasn't just about answers, but also about self-growth, bit by bit, article by article.

But here's the twist for your tech taste buds: I built CodeWiz... using CodeWiz. Inception, much? Every feature in CodeWiz is a part of my journey, sweat, and sometimes, those midnight tears (we've all been there).

I’m on the brink of launching it on Product Hunt on the 18th of September. There's a cool "Notify Me" button on the ProductHunt "Coming Soon" page for those of you curious to see how it unfolds.

So, why am I sharing all this? Because CodeWiz isn't just my story. It's every developer's story. It's a story of frustrations, revelations, and eventual exhilaration. If you've felt the pain points, been stuck at the crossroads of confusion, or just been simply curious, CodeWiz might just resonate.

Check out CodeWiz, and maybe, just maybe, you'll find the ally you've been yearning for in those long coding nights.

Feedback? Absolutely welcome! And if you'd love to be a part of this launch journey, do check out the ProductHunt page: https://www.producthunt.com/products/codewiz

Your support would mean the universe, minus the coding galaxies!

Stay curious, keep coding!

Warmly,
Pietro Lungarini,
The CodeWiz Creator.
