From ZERO to ONE MILLION with my SaaS: Overtracking Analytics

In my previous company, Publisuites, it took me three years to achieve my first million. I started from scratch. After reaching the first million, nine more followed.

I worked hard at Publisuites from 2014 to December 2021 when I finally sold it. In that year alone, we invoiced almost 3 million euros.

With Publisuites we entered a market without major competitors and a smaller market size. Now, with Overtracking, we will be competing against giants like Google Analytics.

I don’t know how long it will take us to get there, a year, two… Maybe we will never get there. But I think there is a 10% chance of success, which is more than enough reason to try. 🦾

I believe that analytics tools are either powerful and complex to use, or they are simple and not powerful enough to truly boost an online business. I think there is room for a solution like Overtracking, and I will fight to put it on the map.

“Nihil difficile volenti”—nothing is impossible for those who have the will. I had this phrase tattooed in 2015; it remains my life motto.

How are we going to do it? ⚡

1. Create a product that delivers on our promises. Words alone aren’t enough. We’ll build the easiest-to-use alternative to Google Analytics, but also the most powerful.

2. Build trust. Transparency is the key to this project. We’ll build in public, and the data will always belong to our users—100%. They can take all their data with them if they want to leave tomorrow. ✌

3. Generate word-of-mouth. To get our first 10,000 users, we’ll focus on word-of-mouth marketing. And for them to talk about us, we’ll have to talk first.

4. Focus on Overtracking. I’ll have to delegate most of my other projects and concentrate on Overtracking.

5. Integrate with other platforms and tools. We have our API available for all premium Overtracking users, and we’ll connect to other APIs to offer even more data (Looker Studio, Search Console, Adsense, Ads, etc.).

6. Make migration easy. We’ll soon make it possible to migrate statistics from GA4 and other web analytics tools to Overtracking.

7. Provide the best support in Spanish and English. What sets us apart from GA4 is that we have someone who will respond to you in less than 24 hours.
