Frustration (Day 630)

The Stoic New Year Challenge tasks are pretty simple: start an emergency reserve and pick a fitness goal. I started an auto-savings plan on top of an auto-crypto buying plan (inspired by John Saddington), and I just resumed running before New Year's Day.

But the post office managed to drive me nuts today. I have been waiting for the actual physical painting from my first NFT purchase from Foundation App. I waited for close to two months already--it's shipped from Italy and waited a long time in customs, without any updates--and it's finally here!

I ended up receiving a notice (see image). I was right near the front door at the time of delivery. Nobody rang the doorbell or knocked!

To add to the frustration, when I tried to schedule a redelivery, the system kept rejecting me, saying the address did not match!

And see the notice--there are only three days before they will RETURN to the sender!!! WTF??? I will be traveling tomorrow and was initially scheduled to come back on Wednesday evening, which means I would have missed the pickup window!!! That is insane!!!

Fortunately, the flight on Wed wasn't available, so I changed my return time to Tuesday. But this is super frustrating! I need to read some Stoic wisdom to calm myself down...
