I've doubled down on simplicity for the productivity and planning tool I'm building for myself and indie hackers: Logvana (https://logvana.com). I had built a lot of things related to habits and time blocking but I never used those much. But I did use one of the simplest features I built from the very start: a daily log of what I planned to do, and what I accomplished.
Doubling down on that simple idea and expanding on it, I now have what is essentially a "future log". It's a simple log entry for each calendar day, week, month and quarter. It reflects how I've always thought about my future: I always started with long term objectives, and worked backwards to what that would mean monthly, weekly and daily. So this is just a manifestation of that approach to planning for the future.
Does this reflect how you think about planning your projects and growth?
