Gamify YouTuber audience participation with content quizzes
I'm thinking of building a service that would allow YouTubers to post a link to a short quiz they create for their audience to take if they wanted to. This quiz would be about the content they discussed in their video.
Each fan would pay only $1-$2 (or something inexpensive) to take part of these quizzes. The YouTuber or content creator would take some percentage of that. I want to create a balance between monetization support and interactivity. This would incentivize fans to watch a video completely, or perhaps multiple times, until they fully understand the content enough to take the quiz. The YouTuber could determine if they wanted the quiz they've made to be timed or not.
There would be a leaderboard that would keep track of the fan with the most points on the quiz and something special could be awarded to the top 3 by the YouTuber.
Would you use something like this to increase fan participation on your videos if you're a content creator?
Get one youtuber to do it as an experiment with you, use an existing store solution and existing quiz builder and see if you get anything 🤷
Sounds lame to me, but maybe for some niches, specifically teaching where it's actually related... should be easy to test as described about which is 100 times better than asking for opinions.. not writing a single line of code, and probably not even spending anything...
