'Google-for-Friends' Seeking Head of Growth

At Surf we're building an AI-driven platform that allows users to make new friends anywhere, anytime, to do anything. Our vision is the eradication of loneliness worldwide by making the creation of new connections effortless. Our aim is to create a consumer/social behemoth capable of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with all the platforms you know and love(/hate).

We're looking for someone who can help us build our userbase, from waitlist stage (where we are now) to launch and beyond.

If you're someone with viral marketing instincts, and who's got great form for building communities, sowing organic excitement about projects like this, and generally building a buzz about stuff, we'd love to hear from you.

We've got a small but strong and tested foundation for our growth strategy already in place; our waitlist has seen uptake in 48 countries for 200 different interest categories; we've got award-winning, world-class folks in our team and on our advisory bench (incl. Xooglers); and our development momentum is strong as we try to solve the key, boundary-pushing challenges in AI/NLP at the heart of this idea. We've had interest already from some of the world's most illustrious VCs and are actively seeking our first funding round.

We're an early-stage proposition - the whole team is equity-only at present, and this'll be an equity-only position too until our current pre-seed round closes. We know that's not a fit for everyone, but if it sounds like a fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!
