Got this Product Designer interview question wrong...

Went for a Product Designer role and scored low for this question. Where do you think I went wrong? 🤔

Q: Your team has been working on a new screen that lists events and just got released to your users. Shortly after a customer reaches out to you on Intercom with a feature request: “Could you add an export button to the events list?” How do you respond and what follow up actions do you take, if any?

My Answer: I would respond by thanking the customer for taking the time to approach us with such a good feature idea mentioning that we will certainly add it to our future development. Also, if there is another temporary solution to support the request I will mention it to them.
