Growing traffic

I’ve been working on a personal project since February. I’ve been doing a few very short Google Ads campaign to gain insights about user behaviour on my site.

While developing the site, I had to build APIs that seems to generate some interest amongst my peers at work and on LinkerIn. I shared some of this through a series of blog posts describing some of the capabilities I built for my project without mentioning it specifically.

I haven’t shared my personal project directly on LinkedIn either, I have a mental hurdle in doing so as I’m concerned about people’s perception of my work in my professional circle, so it’s pretty much the last place I want to use to promote it.

In general, I see how much work is ahead of me for my site, which puts a break on how much I socialize and promote it. I’m looking for advice on how to get things going and start growing this thing I built! 😁
