Hacker 💻 or Hustler 🏃‍♂️: Which one are you?

Definitely hacker! I prefer coding a solution to a problem than evangelising the solution, which is how I'd interpret your question. Less sales/marketing and more engineering. I've enjoyed the buzz of closing sales, or closing funding rounds, but they're incredibly stressful, too. On days like that, it's nicer to find a quiet location to do some tough coding problems and come up for air when the code is done.

Definitely hacker, I enjoy the building much much more than the marketing and sales side. That's not to say I love coding for the sake of coding, but I like making my ideas come to life.

Marketing is really interesting and it's fun to explore creative ways to reach people, but I don't enjoy it as much. I would hate to be a founder who has to spend all day chasing investors.

I've basically hacked my way through high school and undergrad CS, never really did more than necessary and still got solid grades. Always using minimum resource (time) to get there.

Although i do admire people who hustle greatly. Just never been forced to do so, even at the couple jobs i've worked i was never really challenged :(

I’m a Hustler. I was forced to code in order to get what I wanted how I wanted it. I do like to create and I like the “ I’m kinda smart” cookie I feed myself when I debug a problem. That’s about it. Basically it goes: I want that and I have to code to get that. Ok, I’m game.

Can I say...neither?

"Hustling" makes me think of "grinding" which I've never been fond of as an approach to work. Of these two options I'd choose "hacker".
