Hey Guys,
Bit of a story on how I got to the above..
I'm one of the founders of Newny.io. It's a live Q&A tool for events (virtual and physical).
I spent a long time trying to understand how to get traffic (consistent traffic) to my site. I was told to blog but blogging is not something you could do haphazardly, you need to be consistent and the topics you write about need to be relevant and the information you're sharing, somewhat different to what's already out there.
However, done correctly and this could begin to drive traffic from search engines consistently on a monthly basis.
I don't market Newny.io aggressively like I did when we launch about a year and 4 months ago. Today we enjoy ranking top 5 organically for all our major keywords (such as 'free live Q&A tool' or 'Live Q&A platform') with almost 6,000 impressions on Google and 200 or so clicks every month (currently).
All organically.
I've been approached a few times about this and I've come to realise early stage (sometimes even slightly more mature products) neglect this work that's needed to be done to put you and your product in the best possible position on search engines.
Therefore in true IndieHacker spirit, I'd be more than happy to collaborate with you on a blog post (or kick start a blog if you don't have one already) and come up with a plan of action to help put you on the road for SEO success.
Please drop me a note via email mukhtar@newny.io and I'd be more than happy to spend some time with you to strategise (for free of course).
Thanks,
Mukhtar
