How many people have launched their products on Product Hunt and what was your experience and what do you recommend others do?
A strange thing happened, the product was picked for the newsletter for that day (i was surprised!) but the project (it's a fun/hobby project) itself didn't gain too much votes (a bit more than 100).
I guess the project niche matters the most.
An important note: i had no network built and had 0 presence.
We've launched a few times on PH (https://www.producthunt.com/@haneefghanim/made), some launches better than others, but usually resulting in a few hundred signups.
I'd definitely recommend it, but before you do, take a look at some of the guides (there are so many lol) on doing a successful PH launch. It requires a decent amount of coordination & preparation to do right.
That was interesting experience, of course 🥳. We launched Apagraph https://www.producthunt.com/posts/apagraph on ProductHunt, and had our first 150 users on the launch day. We were in the 3 top products of the day for a few hours.
