Hello Again, Indie Hackers! My Journey from Banished to Unstoppable

Hey folks, it's great to be talking to you again after months of banishment! When I first set up my account on IndieHackers, I never thought I'd ever lose it - but despite being one of the project's co-creators, I got laid off after less than a year at the company. Ouch, right? I learned two things from this experience:

🚨 Don't assume your job is 100% secure, even if you feel you're irreplaceable
🚨 Don't create community accounts with your work email, because you never know when you'll be cut off from it :x

Despite trying to reach out to the administration and claim back my old account, I wasn't able to retrieve it. Today I decided to let it go and rebuild my reputation from scratch. So, how are you guys doing, IndieHackers? What's changed for you in the last 9 months?

As for me, for example:

✅ I got a new job as the CMO of a fantastic start-up that focuses on tracking working hours
✅ Along with an external agency, I carried out a rebranding of our foreign brand from TrackTime24 to Unrubble (we're still working on the new website)
✅ I learned about SEO, which was the weakest link in my T-shaped marketer skills
✅ I validated the newly learned lessons on SEO after the dynamic changes in Google
✅ I made friends with GPT-3, who I used to disdain (mainly in the form of Jasper.ai)
✅ I learned a lot about tracking working hours, but even more developed my own opinions on the subject.
