Help categorize idea

The idea, technically speaking, is: the user points to many website counters ( a counter is a number showed in a webpage that vary over time ) and groups them to create a metric of interest. We start monitoring those numbers changes and periodically send back to the user the resulting report with his metrics.
From a user perspective monitoring counters means analysing metrics that are relevant for his business, i.e number of users, number of products... number of whatever.

The problem is how to categorize this idea:
(1) web scraping tool - ok from a technical point of view since the tool requires the user to enter the keyword or xpath for extracting the counter from the website. But a scarping tool has nothing to do with analysis of metrics and graphs and usually it's used for extracting text, not only numbers.
(2) competitor analysis tool - this is what we suppose our tool is used for. The tools in this category have graphs and metrics but they are mainly based on metrics extracted from social networks or "big platform" ( google SEO)..whereas we are more focusing on websites and forums.

Which category do you think is more appropriate? Thanks for helping :)
