Hey Hackers,
Words are hard to describe the situation that’s currently going on right now, and most likely needless! So I’ll jump straight to the point.
Since we are all fortunate enough to be part of this platform, it means at least 3 things:
We have the tools.
We have the skills.
We have the motivation.
To build things. Incredible things! That all have the chance of changing the world!
Let us pair that, with the deep pain and care in our hearts I know we are all feeling when reading a single news at the moment, with ACTION!
Let us come together, brainstorm, build and deploy something that will have a positive impact on the current situation!

An update is due here for a while now! Since I had this idea back in February, a lot of time has passed and we, the team at @chessroulette brought something to fruition to:
We developed and organized our first ever chess tournament on our platform as an effort to raise money for Unicef for Children in Ukraine. The response, although on the smaller side, helped us raise ~$300 and we had a 12 person tournament last Saturday where the winner won an NFT.
The whole experience was pretty crazy, with many hours of coding per day leading to it, a night of not sleep just before the tournament and even deleting the whole tournament (not the code) seconds before we were ready to start it due to stress, but that's maybe another story :)
All in all, I'm grateful for the success and it only proves that there's room for growing in that direction. If you do something cool, that people relate to, they will show up and help!
Hello, I’m Camilo from Cuba, I've created an Independent P2P Remittance & Donation Tool using Slyk that everyone can use and help Ukraine people. This is something that we use in Cuba because of our broken bank and money system.
The idea is to give a tool for families and businesses in Ukraine to process remittances (receive one currency and remit another to recipient) for their families and friends in Ukraine.
Anyone can launch such an independent remittance business by cloning this tool (for free) and receiving USD, EUR, or crypto, and delivering local USD, EUR or UAH.
Please check the documentation of the project on xfxhub.com, and I would appreciate any feedback. I’m also looking for links to sources for free-market rates for exchange in Ukraine. In Cuba, we have various sites that publish these exchange rates and I imagine they must exist in Ukraine too.

Hello, @gctroia I haven't launched it for Ukraine yet, but I've done it in my own country (Cuba) and there are some people using it. Qvastore.slyk.io and Sendjona.slyk.io are the most prominent examples, they had processed more than $18k in 4 months like remittance agents using this tool.
