Hiring: Community Advocate for Userlist
Userlist is a SaaS email automation tool focused on customer data. We need help exposing our brand and our content to the community.
This is a part-time contractor position (approximately 10 hours/week).
What you'll be doing
In short — promoting our content & brand organically in public situations.
This job for developers would be called developer relations — we need the same, but in the field of email marketing, lifecycle email & customer data.
Specifically, this includes:
- Monitoring relevant communities and social media
- Engaging in meaningful conversations
- Helping people solve their problems
- Building relationships with industry practitioners and customers
- While doing all of the above, promoting our content (in the most organic and helpful way)
If you feel comfortable with e.g. events or video recording, we can also discuss content creation. But it's not the core goal for the job.
Key skills
- Good understanding of SaaS marketing tools and the ecosystem
- Passionate about talking to people and helping them
- Technical is better than non-technical
- Self-driven
- Native-level fluency in English
We're happy to bring you up to speed with the product knowledge. E.g. in the beginning, we'll likely answer some questions / discuss situations together.
Schedule
This is a part-time contractor position (approximately 10 hours/week). The schedule is totally up to you. We’d prefer if you could check in daily for a couple hours.
Timezone
The team is 100% remote. Jane, Benedikt, and Michael (our customer success engineer), who will be working with you most closely, are in the European timezone. Many of the customers are based in the US. So the ideal overlap is EU afternoon (US morning).
