It's a huge milestone for us since we are a two-persons bootstrapped company with no money, and mostly do marketing from organic channels : )

Hello!
Congratulations on reaching the milestone of 1,000 registered users for Typogram! That's a remarkable achievement, especially for a bootstrapped company with limited resources. Your journey is an inspiring example of what can be achieved through creative and frugal methods.
The strategies you've mentioned for product development and growth are valuable insights for other entrepreneurs looking to make their mark in the industry. Here's a quick breakdown of your key points:
Product Validation: Ensuring there's a demand for your product before diving into development is a critical step that can save you time and resources.
No-Code Tools: Leveraging no-code tools to launch a minimal version of your product is a cost-effective way to test your concept and gather user feedback.
Pre-Order with Landing Page: Building interest and securing pre-orders through a well-designed landing page can provide an initial capital boost and validate your idea further.
Growth & Traction: Sharing your product on platforms like Reddit can help you tap into a relevant audience. Starting a newsletter is a smart move to keep your users engaged and informed.
Your willingness to share your experiences and insights, as seen in your post on bootstrapping a business, is a valuable contribution to the entrepreneurial community. It's a testament to the power of transparency and knowledge-sharing in the business world.
Thank you for sharing your journey, and we wish you continued success with Typogram!
thanks so much for your kind words and for the break down!
Very interesting. I liked particularly your strategy of Engineering as Marketing. I have seen some other IndieHackers having the same strategy successfully. How did you come up with the ideas for these small side tools provided for free?
Regarding Reddit, which subreddits were successful for you?
For engineering as marketing, you can try search on HN to see if anyone has done a project and what subject it was in, and then try releasing a similar version with your spin, and see what happens!
For reddit, r/startup, r/sideprojects, r/saas were good ones!
This is quite interesting, but you guys took 2+ years to reach the current stage. How many hours per week were you working on it?
We both work on it full time. It is taking a while but a good learning experience since this is our first time doing a business.
