Hobby project: Chess Spots

Hi everybody,

I have really gotten into chess recently, and although I enjoy playing online, the experience of playing over the board with somebody else is so much more fun to me. Hence, me and a friend have started to occasionally meet up in neighboring cities and play some chess at a restaurant or café, which is a great experience.

As I am between jobs at the moment and had some free time on my hands, I figured to have some fun and build a map that showcases restaurants, cafés, and bars where you can find a chess set (including information on the size of the board and whether there are any missing pieces). The idea is to allow anybody looking to play some chess over some good food or a drink find a place to do so.

I wanted to share it here in the hopes of getting some of you that are into chess excited about contributing to the map! As I live in The Netherlands, I have been primarily focused on my own country for now, but it would be great to expand it and get places added all over the world.
