How can I get feedback?
Hi all. I'm just having a hard time trying to find potential users and customers to validate my idea. I have finished building a survey to validate my idea and ready to roll with it, but just can't seem to figure out what's the best strategy to let people give me their precious time. I have posted on Reddit so far to get a sense of the problem ( since I cannot directly promote my product there) and didn't get a lot of responses. What are some good strategies that you guys have applied to get customers talking? FYI, I'm focusing on the hospitality industry and focusing on people working in the Marketing and PR department. If you have a target audience then you can consider where you may find them. Online, what type of communities are there - is there anything that fits the niche you are looking for?
A good way to get started maybe to get on LinkedIn and use it to network and try to reach out and contact people that match what you are looking for, and believe they'll have interest. If you go this way I'd suggest you do it naturally - you don't want to sound like a bot, but instead try to have a conversation and be more human (this is where many people find difficulty).

It's not going to allow you to target your survey very precisely (to a particular audience, I mean), but it's great for A/B testing competing messaging/concepts.
