How can you with engage on a company profile?

I am trying to grow a company profile on Twitter and want to know how to engage with people without compromising on looking professional.

For context, the product is a content scheduler tool that is specifically aimed at anyone trying to grow an audience on Twitter.

Am I right in thinking that engaging in other posts will help me get more eyes on the product? If so should I interact with people and be myself or do I take on another persona so the image of the brand stays respectable?

Is there anything I should definitely avoid that would hinder people from checking out the product?
