How could I create my own Reddit?
Hi guys, looking to create my own version of Reddit for a community of pet owners.
I'm specifically looking for:
- A vertical scrolling layout that allows users to upload pictures and videos (just like reddit.com/r/aww)
- Ability to enable videos to autoplay when users scroll to it
- It just needs to be a single scrollable page, no subreddits necessary
- Ability for users to add their social media links, which show up as clickable icons next to each of their posts
I have 0 programming background. I looked into some no-code solutions as well as out-of-the-box solutions. I'm not confident that no-code solutions are reliable enough to store all the user-uploaded pics/videos (am I wrong here?).
Anyone have any experience building similar?
I think that you can do this with Bubble... And as for reliability issues, you can boost the capacity of your app if needed.

there are a number of "reddit" clones... but, is that what you need?
tons of forum software too.
Why not just create a subreddit? Or are you looking to clone r/aww exactly?
