How do I accept electronic payments in USD?
I don't have an American bank account, or any bank account that holds USD: I'm not American. I do have a British current and savings account though.
So, how can I accept payments in USD? I want to avoid automatic conversion fees (into GBP) and want to be in control of the money in USD.
Would appreciate any advice here.

Stripe does this. You can predetermine prices in any currency so that you're in control of the final amount. We use stripe checkout and it works nicely.
You can also look into transferwise to hold accounts in different currencies.
Really appreciate the help, I think transferwise and stripe is the way to go!
