Recently started building https://gitrecruit.co and initially had a lot of chat with multiple recruiters regarding the same. All the feedback was great and they were willing to pay for the product but once I started them sending beta links and asked for the payment they kind of went radio silent. How do you folks deal with this?
As a developer that's pretty active with open source I've got an email on my profile. I have it on there for people who I'm writing software with to contact me through, not for recruiters.
You might be selling too early. I would onboard 25-50 recruiters for free for a year and provide constant support and upgrades during that time. Then, start charging.
It's always tricky. I hear some people saying we should start getting money even before we start building something. Where do we draw the line?
You know when you've crossed the line when none of your users want to pay. It means the service isn't valuable enough for them to pay - otherwise they would. It sounds like you need to add features and make it a no-brainer for them to continue using your product. Otherwise, even if you did have paying customers, your churn will be massive.

Ya currently don't have any paywall as I wanted recruiters to get all the featured for free.
