How do you all prioritize cybersecurity?

I'm currently in the midst of building a product/service at the moment (related to the music industry), and one of our concerns for delivering to a current potential customer was the fear of DDOS attack and lack of security infrastructure (since we're bootlegging). I was curious if this is something other people experience as well.
