How do you deal with multi-languages in your SaaS?

From day 1, we ship everything in our SaaS in French and English (thanks to i18n). Since everyone in the dev team speak both langages: it has not slowed us down.

But we added Spanish last week and things became nastier.
The initial setup was done by just tanslating our json file through the deepl API (done in 15 minutes). Then we take our spanish speaker sales rep to improve the original translation. And there were so many micro details (like time writing, not spanish friendly external dependencies and so on). Instead of half a day it took us half a week.
And now for every feature we ship we feel very dependant on him. It's not enough to have a freelance to help us but it's still not its job.

We wanted to add Russian and Japanese for this week (since we signed our first deals in these non english friendly countries) but I am very afraid it would be at a cost of a very significant slowdown in our release cycle.
For some market English-only software are clearly a huge deal breaker but it's still like a burden to handle.

What are you thoughts about it? When have you started to deliver your SaaS in other languages? How do you handle it on a daily base?
