How do you do serverless web push notifications?

Hey Hackers!

I need to notify users about the result of long-running operations (e.g. transcoding media files, which takes ~1/2 minutes) and let them know if it failed or succeeded.

Has anyone successfully implemented web push notifications in a serverless fashion for such a use case?

I'd appreciate some pointers here. 🙏
