How do you do taxes?
by
Mark
Do you use a software, an accountant, do it yourself, etc?
Hire a boutique entity/firm to do taxes and accounting for you or use a software that suits your business needs. I would go with option 1. Instead of hiring someone + paying for the software, I would hand it over to the boutique CPA firm to do for me.
Accountant, yearly fee, I gather invoices and send everything over, she takes care of it. It’s great because it allows me to focus on my products.
For my online income via blogging and Medium, I have an accountant that does it.
This year however I have started a SaaS and it uses Paddle(which is a MoR) so I don't know how to handle tax filing this year.
With Gumroad I create an invoice per payment addressed to Gumroad. Been doing that for years, did that with Apple when I sold on AppStore (same situation). Never had complaints from tax agency.
