How do you get early users for your Zapier integrations?

Zapier requires having 10 active 'early access' users for your integration before it can be launched to the public. 'Active' means the users have live zaps that use your integration.

Gleebeam (my SaaS project) is currently in such an early stage that I'm unable to reach this just by inviting existing users.

If you've built a Zapier integration for your app, how did you get early users for it?

P.S. I wrote about my experience with building the integration in a milestone update here: https://www.indiehackers.com/product/gleebeam/created-a-zapier-integration-for-gleebeam--Lug7RoJuvnwCc9nLTXN

If you don't have enough active users with zapier use potential, just wait.
Active Zapier app won't help at this stage and isn't necessary.

My app in the same stage simply has an in app link to the private invite, allowing all existing users to use our not-live zapier integration.

My app in a slightly later stage slightly gamed the system with a handful of signups from staff, but no real benefit doing that.

In my experience zapier will help win power users interested in committing to your app, but not seen it as a lead generation tool. So zapier usage comes from your internal integration page, not your zapier public listing (mostly).

Thanks a lot for this insight!

I was actually thinking about what the benefit of getting the integration published on the platform would be. It makes sense that the public listing isn't a strong lead generation channel unless you're Google Sheets or Slack (i.e. apps most people know about already anyway). The public integration directory on Zapier just isn't made for discovering apps, it's made for discovering possibilities that Zapier offers for automating stuff with the apps you use already.
