How do you grow a community based on your ideal customer profile?

Hey fellow indie hackers,

Let's assume that you have identified your ideal customer profile for the product you want to create. What strategies do you think are the best to grow a community of people who match that profile, to have an audience of people potentially interested in the product to research on? What worked best for your case and what didn't?

I'm experimenting with creating a community of applied natural language processing enthusiasts. I have created pages on LinkedIn, FB, Twitter, and a Telegram channel in which I share interesting projects and news on the subject daily. Also, I try to write at least two high-quality articles a week on Medium on the topic and that I send to a famous publication, from which I'm trying to direct some followers to the other aforementioned channels.
