How do you manage the deployment of client's projects?

Whether you are a freelancer or an agency owner, you must be using some deployment service for your client's projects.
I have recently started my agency and I want to understand a lot of things, including the deployment part.

So, if I'm developing a web application or an e-commerce app, what's the best place to deploy? I hope the question makes sense.
