Hi there,
I am wondering how everyone keeps track of their OKRs and make sure they stay top of the mind in the team?
We used Trello and are now using Notion to keep track.
Our system is also not exactly OKR as we're not looking at quarterly, semi-annually, etc.
We set up "big" objectives for the week, what we want to see accomplished; and then the respective members determine what they can contribute in order to get to those objectives - the tasks, how they intend to approach the tasks, the results they want to see from their tasks, etc.
It's a bit tight and we don't always accomplish all the tasks we want, but we keep it transparent and try to understand what went right and wrong together. We do two big meetings (one at beginning and one at end) to set the objectives and then to review the week.
Wow, I believe regular meetings are key, well done!
In the past, I worked for a company that used 7Geese to do this.
Yes they seem to be a reference in the space. Did you like the tool?
I thought it had a lot of potential. It was pretty easy to understand and had very powerful configuration options. Ultimately, I'd say the company wasn't that successful in implementing and sticking to their OKRs company-wide so my experience wasn't great, but I don't think that's a reflection of 7Geese.
Hey, thanks for sharing your insights. Could I chat with you for 30 min to ask you a bit more about this topic?
