How do you prefer to learn new technologies?

This works for me:

1. Search for an introductory book on the topic (and start reading)
2. After you feel you have a overview of the different jargons of the tech, sign up for an online course and get to dive into the real code
3. Keep on reading the book

I usually start with reading a book for a week, this gives me a good introduction to the topic, then I go onto sign for an online course and of-course go onto to read the remaining book.
