How do you share your md files?

I found myself editing Markdown files every day, all day. While I know there are many editing and sharing tools available, none are specifically designed for AI generation workflows, which often involve bouncing content back and forth with AI.

If you are like me and have this problem working with md files - can we talk?

I came up with mdTidy - https://mdtidy.com which solves these problems:

  1. Easily edit and share md file
  2. Easily export to PDF / DOCX / Google Doc
  3. Beautify Markdown with a design system.
    and much more...

Will be great to have your feedback or talk

The useful wedge here is not “another Markdown editor.” It is Markdown becoming the working format between people and AI tools.

A lot of AI-generated content starts as messy markdown, then needs to become something shareable: a doc, brief, PDF, client note, internal spec, or Google Doc. That workflow is still awkward because most tools either treat Markdown as developer text or as a static publishing format.

I’d be careful with the brand frame early. mdTidy is clear for cleaning Markdown, but your feature set already sounds broader than tidying: editing, sharing, exporting, beautifying, and making AI-generated markdown usable in real workflows. If this grows, the name may make the product feel smaller than the actual workflow layer.

Xevoa .com would fit that direction better because it feels more like a modern productivity/workflow product, while still leaving room for markdown, AI-generated docs, exports, design systems, and team sharing under one cleaner brand.

I love your feedback especially about how Markdown becoming the working format between people and AI tools.

From my research people are coming to a solution because of a specific need, in my case - they want it tidy and ready to export. But if you can think about another name or brand that is better fit - let me know!

That makes sense. mdTidy is good for the current search-intent wedge because people arrive with a very specific need: clean this Markdown and export it.

The question I’d pressure-test is whether mdTidy should stay the tool name or become the feature inside a bigger workflow product.

If the product stays mostly “tidy my markdown,” mdTidy is clear enough. But if it becomes the place where AI-generated Markdown turns into clean docs, briefs, PDFs, client notes, internal specs, and shareable outputs, then the brand probably needs more room.

That is why Xevoa.com still feels like the strongest direction to me. It sounds more like a modern workflow/productivity layer, while mdTidy can still exist as the core feature or entry point.

So I would not replace clarity with something abstract too early. I’d think in terms of parent brand plus sharp use case:

Xevoa as the broader workflow brand.
mdTidy as the Markdown cleanup/export motion.

If that direction feels serious, I’d pressure-test it now before more product pages and user memory get built around mdTidy only.

Can you explain what do you mean by "workflow brand"?

          1. 1

By “workflow brand,” I mean a name that can carry the full job people are trying to get done, not just the first utility they search for.

mdTidy is clear for the narrow action: clean Markdown and export it.

But the broader workflow is bigger: AI gives people rough Markdown, then they need to turn it into something usable: a clean doc, PDF, client note, internal brief, spec, or shareable asset.

That starts to feel less like “tidying Markdown” and more like a document workflow layer between AI output and real work.

That is where a broader name like Xevoa makes sense to me. Xevoa can carry the bigger product direction, while mdTidy can still stay as the sharp feature/use-case that brings people in.

So I’d think about it like this:

mdTidy = the current wedge people understand immediately
Xevoa = the larger brand if this becomes a serious AI-to-document workflow product

The risk is not that mdTidy is bad. It is that the product may outgrow the name if export, sharing, beautifying, docs, and team workflows become the real value.
