I use Notion to jot down ideas throughout the week and raindrop.io to organize links. Especially recommend Raindrop--it allows you to tag links and quickly store them as you come across interesting account
I've just gotten into Notion myself. Raindrop looks cool, I'm always overwhelmed with links I wanna get back to.

I use that methodology in conjunction with Evernote + Things 3
Evernote: as a Second Brain
_use the web clipper (in browser) to save interesting content to my Evernote inbox
_in Evernote I have everything sorted into topical Notebooks
Things
_small reminders for to-dos and if I want to send out immediately

I like that you have a system. I come across so many things I want to look into, and have so many thoughts to organize. Seems like a cool concept, even beyond newsletters.

I use notion. Every project has it's own notion page.
I also use Obsidian (think Roam Research) for everything that's not a project.
I also take notes by hand on loose leaf printer paper + clipboard :D
By project do you mean a newsletter issue?

I don't take notes for my curated newsletter.
Once I have the links ready for an issue, I write most or all the descriptions and commentary in one sitting. The text is so short I usually don't need much preparation or thought.
I like the format of your newsletter, I can see why you don't need heavy note taking. This makes me wonder if other link/article curators forgo notes as well.
