Recently I tried some SEO experiments. My goal was to get my article with the keyword "Autodesk shotgrid alternative" to google snippet.

My steps were simple:
- I've checked all the top search results about this topic.
- I wrote my article "7 Best Autodesk Shotgrid Alternatives", which I tried to make better than other search results on the first page.
- Once the post was ready, I added it to Google Search Console for indexation.
- The first search results were software catalogs. So, I added our app as a competitor to Shotgrid in those catalogs. So krock.io was mentioned in all of those pages.
- After that, I sent an email campaign to our subscribers. I intended to ask for help in writing a review of our app. Not many did a review, but they visited the page.
- Next step, I found some subreddits where people complain on shotgrid and ask for alternatives. So, I kindly suggested my article with seven options.
- After that, I wrote a tweet about my experiments. By the way, you can check my profile. I write about my journey: @tahanchin.
Results:
- In 2 days, our article was on the first page of Google search results.
- In 5 days, we got into Google Snippet (this result is not static, it may change).
