How I increased my followers using a free giveaway
Hi all,
I decided to do a giveaway to increase my Twitter followers. I run a weekly investing newsletter in conjunction with an active daily twitter account. Given my theme is investing, I decided to give away a copy of my favourite investing book this year:
The Psychology of Money by Morgan House
To enter, individuals have to simply retweet the tweet and follow my account. So far the results have been phenomenal. After only 3 hours, I have already gained 31 RTs and almost as many new followers. The giveaway is live until 1 January 2021 and you can check it out below

Yes I couldn’t agree more. The cost is pretty low too, about $15 for the book in my instance. They key to it is ensuring that the giveaway prize is relevant to your target audience so that you attract a sustainable following from it

Just an update on my giveaway. I ended up getting over 50 retweets which resulted in over 8,400 impressions. I am also estimating about 35 new followers. Overall a great result from a really simple and easily implementable idea
