How I Increased My Website Traffic from 19k Users to 31K {CASE STUDY}🔥📈

UX is something that is totally underrated in the SEO industry, UX talks about the intent which needs to be solved.

Every KW has its own intent and behavior that need to be fulfilled, And through this simple rule, my website got rewarded with almost 10K new users.

🧐What I Believe!

Google basically knows about the problem behind each query - When someone makes a search like habit tracker template, This KW is quite clear with the intent, the user wants to access a habit tracker template.

Once the users have the tracker with them, they will not search again about that, At least for quite some time! And when this same behavior is repeated by most of the searchers, the google search algo learns about the intent of the keyword.

And maybe this could be the reason why Google ranks authoritative websites too fast as compared to less authoritative and new websites, they want to learn more about the intent of each keyword.

What you can do with this KW? You can create a quick CTA button that gives users access to the excel sheet or some other notion template.

Make sure to place the button on above-the-fold so that the user doesn't have to scan & scroll your whole article to complete its intent.

⛏️Things I did!

The KWs which I'm targeting here - All are download-based so, the intent is already clear they want to download such templates.

What my competitors are doing?

Although my KW competitors are solving the intent, but for the sake of word count they are placing the links at the end of the article.

So, this is what I exactly did!

-> Created multiple variations of the same excel sheet (To give users more options)

-> Placed the download button on the above-the-fold, even before the actual content with Exact KW as button text.

-> Created a GIF preview so, that users can decide which template they want.

-> Submitted pages to GSC for re-inspection.

🤷‍♂️Why you should focus on Page Experience?

Google is rolling out a major update related to the page experience, And there are higher chances that this month you have faced a spike in your website SEO traffic, It could be up or down.

📉if it's down, then you need to find that X-factor through which you can solve the user problem ASAP.

😑😑Argument!

Okay, Here people can make an argument! Solving the intent on the above-the-fold of the website can decrease website session time?

I agree it will definitely increase the bounce rate and reduce the session time. But once you're solving the user problem the google definitely ignores those metrics and going to reward your website with more KWs and rankings.

That's it for today, My Twitter DM is always open for any healthy SEO Conversation!
