How many ghost users is normal?

Hey guys,

Recently launched taken.to on Product Hunt and somehow managed to get first place. Fair to say the amount of traffic has been incredible - but I've noticed a lot of people signing up + publishing a page which does not look good.

A few different reasons for doing this:

• not understanding the UI
• squatting their taken.to username
• just checking us out

So I would like to know how many "ghost users" is normal as a percentage or something? Do you have people signing up to your product to just check it out?
