How to build community in a remote workplace?
The pandemic has prompted a work trend that is increasing in popularity: remote teams. But, as we already know, company culture is also a foundational element of a successful workspace. Without it, your team might deviate from the original mission of your business.
This raises the question: how do you build a sense of community when working remotely, especially when working asynchronously?

Let's be totally real for a second. A lot of places are going to completely fail at building any type of remote community. It's a wasted effort.
It's mostly unnatural to build deep relationships with people over zoom, in a work environment. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it's rare and difficult to reproduce.
If anyone tells you they can bring a virtual community to your business - run. That person may mean well, but their work isn't going to be fruitful.
