I second looking at customer reviews of competitor products. I've spent countless hours combing through G2 and Capterra reviews doing market research. They're gold mines of info on customer pain points and what they like and don't like about existing solutions.

Great article and advice. In my experience, having worked at a few startups, after the initial market research, hardly any is done after that. I guess founders think that because they have a product and customers and are making money etc. they don't need to continue it. Even when I've pointed this out, it just gets brushed under the carpet. So, thanks for highlighting how important it is even years down the line.
