How to get a job as MVP Builder
So, I have kind of a craving of wanting to code a complete mvp. The thing is I don't want to do other stuff such as idea validation, marketing etc. I don't want any equity type scenario too.
Particularly, I want to find some who'll pay me to build the MVP. I know this is a tall ask, but how can i go about finding that person?

Most of the startup are doing MVP, or at least they should, so maybe you could create your profile on upwork or any freelance platform, and look for a startup's project ?
Or you can also setup a gig on fiverr, "I will do an MVP for you" :-)
Upwork and fiverr have really low pay due to bad quality of work.
Interesting point of view :) I don't have loads of experience with both platforms, but a few on fiverr and the deliveries were usually cheap and with good quality (more or less).
Otherwise, you can search for startup jobs on all remote job sites around?
Usually, the person to build the MVP would be the technical co-founder and usually they would be expected to build it without salary in exchange for equity.
There's a big downside to outsourcing the MVP which is that if it works, you now already have one potential competitor with the knowledge of how to build your product.
I am building a mvp for somebody right now and run my own company. Would I copy their product? Rather not because it’s their vision and their life — instead I help them reach their dream by sharing my management and engineering experience and knowledge 😁
They can make a non compete agreement for this
That's typically not enforceable if they just build the same thing twice, as opposed to actually stealing your source code.
Plus, there's the money aspect. Co-founders are free upfront, but more expensive later. Consultants are the same price, no matter how the company fares. So if the business model is still undecided, meaning a high risk of failure, then co-founders are cheaper.
