This idea is me "scratching my own itch". I worked enterprise sales at a SaaS company and before I send pricing to potential customers, I need to get approval from a sales manager.
The approval process causes a delay as there isn't an automated process and this causes delays in my deal flow.
My idea is this: a web-app to submit an internal ticket to get quicker approvals on pricing by creating a dedicated website to monitor my pending tickets and notify the manager by email and notifying me if it is approved or rejected.
The web-app can track how long an item has been pending, notes/feedback if something was rejected, organize by urgent or important items, and automatically send the email/pricing/info once approved.
What're your thoughts IH team?
Most ticketing systems have such features, like its common to build such a pipeline in JIRA or any other org. CMS system...
You can make something simple in airtable or notion and other fuller no code system
Interesting! There are many use cases for workflows automation and things around it. I am working on idea of having more generic automated approval workflows. If you would like we can connect and share our findings.
Cheers!
