How to learn a new language without living abroad

Last year, I learned how to speak Korean 🇰🇷 while living in France 🇫🇷

I started as a complete beginner. After 3 months, I had friendly conversations with native Koreans on Zoom.

Here are 6 tips to learn a new language efficiently without living abroad:

1. Find out why you want to speak a foreign language because it's the root of your motivation

2. Talk to natives from day 1 (I recommend iTalki)

3. Change the language of your phone to the one you're learning

4. Think in the new language

5. Only learn the most common 1,000 words

6. Show up every day, even if it's only for 10 minutes.
