Hi hackers, makers, and stingy nerds 🤓
Just wanted to share a quick tip on how I got up and running with a business bank account for free using Revolut Business.
Most countries require businesses to have a dedicated bank account for tax returns. Problem is, the dinosaur banks want money for touching anything related to a company, and usually, a special "business" bank account (that is no different from a personal account...) costs between $400-$2000 / year.
Not cool for an indie maker or running a super lean startup.
Luckily Revolut has a business product that you can use for free. Your local tax authorities just need to be informed that this is the account to use. All I had to do was to submit a dedicated form for an overseas bank account, and a couple of weeks later I saw my tax money on the Revolut account.
Hope this helps some of you guys!
Peace out
Cool, I didn't know Revolut had a business account!
