How to stop getting disappointed

I have a bad habit of thinking every big swing is going to result in a Homer.

I follow The Babe’s mantra, “you can only hit a home run if you swing.”

Which is why I swing at everything, because I have witnessed it, that a single swing can be “the one”.

Being a kid and selling my first business at 26, barely having a clue about what I was doing. I know so much more 10 years later, and know what it looks like when you hit a Homer.

So why am I telling you this story? Because I am hitting the ball correctly, squarely, and with enough force to pass the walls.

Now, I just need to stop watching the ball, and instead keep my eye on the next pitch.

Because the game has changed. You can’t win a baseball game 1-0.

You gotta score 11 runs to their 10, to win.
