How we reached over 700 members in less than 2 months
In just under two months the community my brother and I created, Huzzler has grown to over 700 members—not through gimmicks or marketing hacks, but by delivering genuine value to founders and indie makers.
The Secret? There Isn’t One.
We didn’t rely on flashy marketing tactics or viral campaigns. Instead, we focused on creating a platform that genuinely supports its users. By providing tools and a community that help founders showcase their products and receive constructive feedback, we built a space where users find real value.
W found that striving for a clean, categorised homepage and crafting a real community feel was a way better goal to pursue instead of just getting lots of inital users. What we didn't expect was that just that led to over 700 new users since launch!
This is how it works:
Founders who post their product on Huzzler, create value for the community (they make useful tools for other founders). This leads to other users checking out and using those products, what in turn drives up traffic and sales for these founders. Now the founders are happy and let the community know about their succes, which drives more founders to Huzzler. It's a win-win-win!
