Hi guys!
I released my first finished project a couple of days ago. ChartSnap is a tool to create visualisations of data in a few clicks.
The main target audience for ChartSnap is social media marketers / content creators.
At first I allowed full access to everyone who signed up and a pro version to just remove the watermark on downloaded visualisations. However I don't think this is the correct strategy to follow as most people will be using the application for free - The advantage here however is to allow more people to access the app and provide more feedback and I guess "free" marketing if they use the visualisations for example on social media.
Today I transitioned to a premium model that makes it required to pay before testing/trying out the app.
What do you guys think about this? Would you go the freemium route with less features / watermark or with some sort of premium only model?
Is ChartSnap ready for monetisation as it is only at the start of its journey and feature-set?
Interested in your thoughts and any other feedback you have for chartsnap.io
Thanks!
